Asset Fields and Details

  • Branch: Location or branch where the asset belongs.

  • Category: Must be an active, non-deleted category.

  • Name: The asset’s name (e.g., “Dell Laptop XPS”).

  • Brand & Model Number: Optional identifiers for easier tracking.

  • Serial Number: Unique identifier (required, must be unique).

  • Purchase Date & Price: Optional financial tracking.

  • Status: Select from:

    • Available

    • In Use

    • Under Maintenance

    • Retired

    • Lost

  • Remarks: Additional notes or comments.

  • Created & Updated: Automatic timestamps for when the asset record was created or last modified.
